Welcome to Gidaah Property Management Limited (hereafter referred to as Gidaah). By accessing or using our website, mobile platform, or booking any of our apartment services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms govern your access to and use of our platform, services, content, and communication channels.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, we advise you not to proceed with using our platform
1. About Gidaah
Gidaah is a real estate and hospitality company with its headquarters located in Namibia. We provide culturally inspired, stylishly curated stays across Africa for travelers, tourists, digital nomads, families, and corporate clients. All properties listed on our platform are managed directly by Gidaah.2. Eligibility
To use our platform or book any of our apartments, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding contracts. By accessing Gidaah, you confirm that you meet these requirements.3. Account Registration and Verification
Before booking an apartment, you are required to create an account and provide certain personal information, including your full name, phone number, email address, and a valid government-issued ID. This information will be verified through our trusted third-party identity verification partner, Veriff.You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect any unauthorized activity, please notify us immediately at compliance@gidaah.com.
4. Booking and Payment
All bookings are processed via our website or authorized booking channels. Payments must be made in full at the time of reservation unless otherwise stated. By confirming a booking, you agree to the pricing, cancellation, and refund policies specified at the time of booking.Gidaah uses secure third-party payment platforms to process transactions. We do not store your credit card or financial details directly.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our cancellation and refund policies vary based on the apartment, location, and duration of stay. Full details will be provided during the booking process. If you cancel a booking, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund depending on the terms applicable to that specific reservation.Gidaah reserves the right to cancel a booking in cases of fraud, misrepresentation, or when a user fails to comply with these Terms. In such instances, refunds may not be issued.
6. Guest Conduct and Responsibilities
As a guest, you agree to treat our apartments with respect and care. You must not:- Damage the property or remove any items belonging to Gidaah
- Engage in illegal or disruptive activities
- Host parties or exceed the occupancy limit stated in the listing
- Violate any applicable local laws
Failure to comply with these expectations may result in removal from the property, a penalty fee, and permanent suspension of your account.
7. Intellectual Property
All content and materials on the Gidaah website and platform — including logos, images, designs, text, and technology — are the intellectual property of Gidaah or our licensors. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.8. Third-Party Services
We integrate with third-party platforms for identity verification (Veriff) and payment processing. Your interaction with these services is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms. Gidaah is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use of these third-party services.9. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to ensure all listings are accurate and all apartments are maintained to the highest standards, Gidaah shall not be liable for:- Any injury, loss, or damage suffered by you during your stay
- Temporary unavailability of the website or booking system
- Errors or inaccuracies in apartment descriptionsErrors or inaccuracies in apartment descriptions
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Gidaah, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the platform, breach of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another party.11. Modifications to These Terms
Gidaah reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and notify account holders. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.12. Termination
Gidaah may terminate or suspend your access to our platform at any time, with or without cause or notice, at its sole discretion. You may terminate your account by contacting us at compliance@gidaah.com.13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
